In addition to providing advanced and minimally invasive care, our goal is to minimize trauma pre-operatively, through surgery, and during post-operative recovery.
Sparrow’s Outpatient Rehabilitation centers have earned a reputation for clinical excellence with 11 conveniently located, well-equipped facilities. Our teams are devoted to helping you achieve optimal long-term outcomes and independence with all aspects of daily living. Patients with physical dysfunction or impairment benefit from services provided by our multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams.
Water therapy develops overall physical fitness concentrating on strength, endurance, balance, and mobility. Therapists work with primary care physicians to ensure that an aquatics program is the right course of treatment for each patient
Occupational therapy helps individuals achieve maximum independence in all aspects of daily living and life skills, such as self-care, homemaking and vocationally-related tasks. Our experienced team of registered occupational therapists provides individualized treatment programs that involve instruction in adaptive equipment and functional activities to help our patients return to their highest level of functioning.
Physical therapy assists in restoring or compensating for lost mobility and physical function. Our licensed physical therapy team will evaluate your physical limitation, establish goals, and provide an individualized treatment plan, and home program. After the completion of therapy, you will be re-evaluated to ensure that your goals were met for the best possible outcome.
In cooperation with physicians, physical therapists, and certified athletic trainers, an individualized program is developed to help patients with athletic injuries. In most cases, the athletic trainer will design and supervise the program, modifying the program within the healing process. This type of collaborative approach allows the certified athletic trainer to combine therapeutic modalities and therapeutic exercise techniques to ensure the rehabilitation process is the most successful.
The Sparrow Clinton Rehabilitation & Fitness Center is a 9,000 square foot facility with a health club featuring advanced exercise and training equipment, along with flat screen televisions. Each year, we offer several educational and wellness programs including group and individual exercise programs, aerobics, Pilates, and yoga. In addition, we coordinate CPR and first aid classes.
